Garmin GPSMAP 276C
I bought the Garmin gpsmap 276 C as per megamoe's recommendation (Thanks man). It looks nice, paid 2900 for the unit plus the GCC map. The package includes home charger, car charger, car holder, USB cable and 32 MB memory card.
I have to play with it to know how to use it (I hate reading manuals).
I couldnt find the windshield holder at amit trading so i ordered one online along with the bike holder to use it when riding the banshee.
Fearuae, i'll give the feedback by 3rd quarter 2007

Nice choice Surfer. But read the manula. Don't do like me. Till last week, the only thing I could do with my GPS is to put it on and off .. After reading the manula, I discovered that it has a map and actually can take you to places .. (Just kidding)
Really, read the manual, this machine have a lot of options which you will never know by playing with it.
Fearuae needs to upgrade his system for offroading first before he start using GPS

That might be useful if u dont know how to reach KFC, SZ road, carrefoure hehehehehehe
Its for sure the excellent choice between the current models, mabrook. I am still using the 176c and quite happy with it, I dont need the ME/Gulf map as am using the GPS for offroad only and is just perfect.

It's usualy mounted on the board not on the glass.... I think the 276c is a bit heavy unit won't resist a jeep off roading ..... U can even fix it on your right hand side on the silver part of the board with screws or on the left side with a strong Velcro ......
I wouldn t recommend to use screws.........
