Eric/ Andy

Thanks for a great day and congrats to you guys on organising all of us into some semblence of order .....I thought it would be chaos with so many cars but you guys nailed it!!!

Also thanks for making room on the newbie trip ....my son and his girlfriend LOVED IT.!!!! It was a real shame we could'nt stay and enjoy the sight of soooooo many cars at the BBQ ....unfortunately my visitors are only over for 10 days so we have an intense social and entertainment schedule and were out for dinner that night!!!!

see you next time

Wow what a trip! Like an earlier poster, I did wonder how they would sort everyone out into the correct groups, but well done Andy and Viking, you did it!

Sorry for being a bit late, met with JC earlier at Khatim and he took us over an interesting route to the deflation point, which was an experience in itself - good practise for me! Thanks to the UN rescue team, ie Lee and Ali for getting us "on the road" again. Hope your Prado gets well very soon Joy!

Once we arrived at the correct group, I handed the FJ over to our son Andy (Evo) and his friend Sam, under the watchful eye of Bluelion. They continued along the route, and I got the chance to follow them behind the wheel of Mrs Lionbar's Pathfinder - and that was a surprise......... such power  Thank you Mrs Lionbar for letting me drive it!

The BBQ area was a sight to behold with so many cars and people - Andy and Sam had a great time and enjoyed talking to so many different nationalities. I'm glad you enjoyed your cake Viking, Cam (CAMouflage) baked it using my bar of chocolate :D :D . Very sorry to see you go Andy, giver of such confidence and encouragement, what can I say? "Haste Ye Back"!

I know a few days late but when u get sick you don't do too much. Then I made a mistake and let work actually take priority over the video too. How silly of me. This one is a slight departure from my normally long and slow rambling video and has been edited in a slight Lionbar style. Hope you all like it.

Very good video - loved the editing style Eric, very watchable.
Looked like a great route - remind me to sign up for one of Mood's intermediate trips once I get back to the UAE

Bye from Bonnie Scotland
