Nice, Easy, Relaxing newbie trip Report 29-8-08

Lovely day 8) Great unexpected weather & nice company :P

Everything was accurate today, ALL 11 cars came on time, deflated on time, started the trip as scheduled, 3 & half hours of continous offroading (included 15 min. break). Everyone did exceptionaly well, that i had to forget about the relaxing part & head towards some side slopes & crests to make the day :twisted: :P

Thank you. It was a gr8 route Diver and I think we all enjoyed. BUT I have one correction. Everybody did not meet on time. I didnt realize it was 5.30 until 5 min before meeting so I was late but I was there before leaving time so it might be OK.

All together another great morning trip and I agree that we all did well. There were some challenging parts but we all managed. I am also happy that I got to use my strap a couple of times and I think I pulled three jeeps today :-)

No time to write more since I am off to Ultramind trip and a full day in the sand :-)

Thank you Karim for the nice relaxing trip, I think everyone enjoyed it and the route was really nice. It was a good chance to see the nice group before Ramadan.

That was a nice route you choose this morning with a very much appriciated relaxed meeting time! I enjoyed very much and my 15 year old Wrangler proved to be still in shape (except the petrol tank which is now half the size) after bringing the tyre pressure further down to 11 PSI.

Hi Diver and the rest of the Gang,

obviously you had a good trip and 3 1/2h of driving... not bad. But we had the Coconut-Chocolate cake! That beats all 8)

you are right, it was like a scheduled flight arriving on ETA...with a smooth check in and check out :wink:

Rushed to the petrol station, so did not have a chance to say bye to everyone, it was nice to see you guys and "Ramadan Kareem"

Thanks Karim,

just when i reached this morning to Al Khatim i saw a red modified Wrangler and thought " maybe its somebody of AD4X4." :D

And the next is saw was another Wrangler ( i think in black ) which had a AD4X4 sticker on the window and also i saw some other Jeeps ......thats why i exited the highway at Al Khatim to see who is the leader of that pack. :wink:

When i sighted your silver Cherokee on the front end, i really thought about how nice it would be to join all of you now with my red rusty bucket and drive all the same nice dunes with all of you. But as i told you at our short conversation i had the wrong car with me to do so :roll:

You know since i am working on YAS Island i do Offroading with the red one every day.
