Newbie trip Friday 27 June - Car Museum Area
Once again a nice day out for all.
We met at BMW at 4:00 and left at 4:20 heading out to the car museum area.
After deflating, one of the cars had a minor problem, but nothing that a bit of duck tape cant fix. But could still not take it out into the sand. Khalid would have loved to have been there.....
We then hit the dunes for a nice and easy drive for the newbies before stopping for BBQ and coffee. After starting the BBQ there was a nother short advanced trip before sun down.
It was the first trip for Hitesh and Roy to start getting the feeling of the sand, but they both managed very well. Both lost their number plate, and both were found.
It was the second trip for chandan who is now feeling more confident in the sand.
JC, Iguans, Jax Diver and Viking thanks for helping out and sweeping.
Dune, Kiwi, Toufiq, were all driving like pro's.
Thanks to everyone for attending.

Thanks Bradley for a really nice trip and I was more than happy. A busy sweepers day - I like it.
Boss I hope your car will be OK soon as I would really want to see you on next weeks trip.
Dear Khalid. As Bradley says you would have loved being there and I felt forced to document this as the only Nissan owner in the group. I felt almost like a Paparazzi and as you can see I was in great danger by taking this picture. I hope the Boss will forgive me.

Thanks Bradley for another great trip with friends old and new - nice to see you again Sakura, we have missed you!
Was also a treat being a passenger while Iguana put 'The Tank' through it's paces - glad you approve of my baby, Boss!
Big well done to the newbies and to Chandran - you guys are doing great in the soft summer sands, just wait till the winter, you will be rockin'!
Great BBQ - followed by a nice chill-out chat session under the stars trying to spot satellites 8O - thanks for the stimulating company and conversation Iguana, Diver and friends.

Yesterday was not my day .. Started when my radiator decided to leak on the deflation point .. Had to leave the car there and joined JC (That's even worse than leaving my car alone at the deflation point with a busted radiator 8) )
After a short but busy drive, we stopped at the deflation point where we decided to leave the newbies and go for a short advance trip .. So I took Jax car to try it out as she wanted me to check the car .. And it was cool driving The Tank .. God, this car had power and can go any where .. (Thanks Jax, it was amazing).
After a nice BBQ by Diver, we had a great chat under the stars, I actually didn't want to leave, but at 10.30 we decided to pack and go home.
Back to the deflation point, I started inflating my tires and BOOM, my compressor was busted ... I used Diver's compressor to inflate and then me and Jax drove to Mussafah to drop my car and went back home
Thanks Bradley for the nice trip, Jax for all the help, JC for the drive and VIKING ... You will see next trip

Well Boss as I said I feel sad for you and your car and I actually asked Adiga if you needed help getting back as my strap was already warmed up and ready for action. I was planning to tow you back if needed so you see I am not all bad But you have to admit that is is a nice picture. I just love the way Adiga pointing his finger to the traitor Probably a potential Pulitzer winner.iguana wrote:Yesterday was not my day ..

Viking, Thanks for you help, I know you are a helpful person, but I will never allow you the chance to tow my car with your Nissan
I don't think that my car will be ready by next Friday because I am now making an Aluminuim Radiator which might take sometime so my car will not be ready next week.
Don't worry, your little princess and the Family will have a great welcome as always, but once they leave and you are back alone, I will revenge

Come on boss it wasn't that bad look at it from my point of view instead of hearing "JC WHERE ARE YOU?", "JC TAKE IT EASY THEY ARE ONLY NEWBIES", "JC GET BACK HERE STOP PLAYING", ....iguana wrote:Yesterday was not my day .. All I heard was "what is that noise", "wHERE ARE YOU GOING", "Go over there".
What is the difference in or out of my car you still sound like my MUM
