Report of the advance trip to BU TAIS on 11 December

Everyone arrived on time. We had a young advance (first trip) so we had a smooth trip.

The convoy consisted of :
Myself "John" Leader
Maher, Paul and Waleed shared the place of second lead and sweeper.
Marco (first trip advance)
And Marshal Michael as supervisor

After a technical and safety briefing to the drivers and mainly to the young advance, we set off to the starting point away from the tree line which is full of tracks. I started in a technical part with some small crests. The pace was fast and all the drivers followed very well. One of us had a tyre problem and dropped his car at the entrance to the gatch. While waiting for his return we practiced on higher dunes and allowed Marco to do his first real crest crossings. We found some nice long virgin crests. After return we continued to progress towards Bu TAIS Trees by riding the technical areas and finished on higher dunes.

All the drivers did very well, especially Marco for his first advance.
Excellent work from Maher, Paul and Walled who continue to progress.
