What a great week-end it was!!! We all met on time in Sweihan ADNOC, then left shortly after for the deflation point at one of the gates. After deflating our tires we all gathered in circle for an ANIT debriefing. After that we hit the dunes, started with easy tracks and gradually increased the level keeping in mind this was an ANIT-Newbie trip. A couple of stucks here and there, including one by my-self, one pop-out by Royal Motors which I hope everybody learned something on how to avoid them and how to fix them. Had to go back our our tracks a bit at some point when Bosamac realized his front license plate had come off. Found it at the bottow of a dune may be 500 meters back. We stopped a few times along the way for camels and pictures, and eventually we found ourselves a nice camping spot with a view for sunset. Awesome BBQ, fire and chat about ghosts and spooky stories. Around midnight everybody is ready for bed. SOme did not sleep well as it was cold ( told you the temperature drops at night! ). I slept very well, confortable in my Jeep. Next morning we all got up early, had breakfast, then decided to make another newbie trip. So off we go, exploring Sweihan more, nice big descent hope you all enjoyed, you all did great, some more camels, then around 1100 we all agreed to head back to civilization. Catch road back to main road, we inflated our tires then headed back to Abu Dhabi.
So 2 trips in one, good for your log-books! Good work!

I already caught you guys on the road to Sweihan and started my sweeper job immedatly.
The trip was great. Yann found a nice place for camping. Surrounded by big dunes, everybody enjoyed the sunset. The camp fire was started and soon the meat was on the grill. A nice chat followed and after midnight everyone disappeared in their sleeping bags. Next morning a small trip back to road was taken and we headed back home at noon.

The timing of the trip was perfect. You are not too exhausted and can enjoy the rest of the weekend at home.
The group did fine. It was a pleasure to be the sweeper. Thanks Yann for the log book!

Sorry for been a little bite late, but I've been in my "Office" The trip was fantastic!!! We learned some new tricks, had a lot of fun, beautiful dinner surrounded by a perfect night, nice talk by the fire and incredible stories.... Nice-cold sleep and the next day a few more dunes practising with other challenges!!!
All my friends enjoyed so much, and I am getting my radio and flag fixed for more....
