Almost all met on time at the Al Khatim gas station. Sorry Keiran and Olga, that you could not make it on time and thanks for letting me know in advance. After a short briefing we went to the deflation point.

Another briefing after deflation and off we went. From the end of the catch road we went west towards Sweihan. We started easy, got into some tricky dunes before we found nice areas to practice some crestings, light slopes, climbs and descents. A couple of stucks and one pop-out were recovered easily and our Safe Man Zayed was always around when needed.
We had lunch under one of the rare trees (it took quite a while to find one, but eventually we succeeded). Nice chat between all the participants and just before someone proposed to take a nap, we continued. The area became wider, the dunes higher and we increased the fun factor. Especially towards the end, the group was just doing great. There was confidence and without any issues we made our way back at a good pace, with some nice technical sections.

Thanks to Smiley, Zeer, Agne and Zayed Ali for being around, watching the convoy and making sure, everybody is safe and enjoys.

I really enjoyed to drive with all of you, and hope you enjoyed it as well, learned something new and we will meet again in the sand soon.

Thanks Juergen. It was a great trip filled with fun. Had my first pop out which was a good thing to learn to fix it.

Very nice day on the sand Juergen, thanks a lot! Great way to finish the weekend. This was not an easy area, with very soft sand in some places. But all drivers did great, well done to everybody.

And thank you Mr Zayed/Safe Man for the watermelon

• I was the sweeper , however , I am the 1st one who got stuck badly (Thx Zeer and Agne for the help ) it took us more than ½ hr to recover the black steed
