Report - Intermediate trip to DesNav 2013

Post by khaiwi »

A spontaneous trip was announced for those who did not participate in DesNav this year starting from the deflation point between Al Fathya and hameem to the event campsite.

I would like to thank Gladiator for second lead and Arabia (Franco) for the sweep. Colonel, Rami42 and the gentleman in the FJ cruiser, excuse me guys for my bad memory remembering names I always forget names hehehehe

We started around 12 noon and drove on the soft sands and tricky dunes planning to reach the camp by 5pm. A few stucks here and there, changing the trip level higher then lower and so on making sure everybody had fun, some adrenaline and relaxed driving. Guys you all drove really good in such a difficult area not comparable to classic khatim or easy sweihan trips.

Reaching the camp location meeting everybody till around sunset where we drove out to the new Adnoc for airing up the tires and toping the gas tanks having another break chit chat with members heading back home after a great day out.

Hope everybody joined my trip had fun. My pics are already on my FB page, please share yours too.

Stay safe till next weekend in Jeep Jamboree.

Cheers,
Did 650 Off Road trips so far (26- Jun-2022) and counting
Proud to be AD4x4 Marshal.......

If you haven't been to LIWA, you haven't seen the desert yet......Dare you follow me? !!!!

And if you haven't seen Jeeping in Moab, you don't know what you're missing.

Never settle for less....
