Report : Morning trip with waleed +GPS Level 1 - Dubai AM

All met on time in the meeting point except Amru Abbas who was coming from AD and joined us at the deflation point at Murgham
We started with the briefing then some basic information about navigation and waypoints options. Everyone saved the first two points on his GPS device we started the drive. I was leading and Chadi was sweeping. Focus was on navigation tips rather than the drive itself and many navigation techniques were explained from one point to the other.

In an easy area with small dunes, One point was assigned to each driver where he is supposed to lead for an average of 2 to 3 KM while I was the second lead . This gave the team the opportunity to practice what we discussed about navigations. After we finished our training I took the lead to continue the drive to the exit point.

Amru , Zak and Ferran Everyone did very well and hope that all learned and gained useful knowledge. I enjoyed it a lot and hope that you enjoyed it as well

Thanks Waleed for giving us a chance to practice our navigation skills, it was a good boost to our confidence, especially with DesNav this weekend!

It was good meeting everyone else too, I look forward to seeing you all in the sand again soon!
