It was indeed a long trip. We entered the desert at 1530 and we headed towards the high dunes NE from our entry point and then SW to Al Ain airport. The high red dunes in the middle of our way were indeed massive and nice to drive on. Later, on our way towards the Al AIn airport, some stucks and two pop-outs slowed down our speed. As a consequence for the last 10 km of our trip we had a night drive until we reached a gatch road leading to the al ain airport roundabout.

This trip was hard work! I don't think I've been on one with more stucks and pop-outs but I loved it!! My temp gauge stopped showing anything above 50C again but it was bearable due to the dry heat. 41 kms till we finally reached the catch-road with many impressive dunes on the way.

Thanks Stefano for organising the trip. It was the first time for me to go that route and I loved it. Beautiful dunes and the red sand in the afternoon sun was amazing. Thanks everybody for joining and making it a nice trip.
