Report: Early Birds Go Floating!! 13/07/12
After driving for 30 min in a deep thick fog with a visibility of 5 meters max, we all reached on time except one SMS apology and one jet lagged driver
We headed to the deflation point where we had a refreshing briefing and headed out to float over the dunes, after driving for 15 min, Grzegorz's car decided to annoy him with some noise, so he took the safe decision and we drove him to the Tarmac to drive back home, and we met our jet lagged friend there.
We headed back again and started to spice up things, but the drivers kept proving they are capable of such tricky and soft sands, all were moving with very nice pace.
At that point IDO took the lead and once again proved the leadership quality that he has in choosing the right track for the drivers, while keeping it interesting, we continued to swap the lead between me and IDO, to cover the rest of the trip till the exit point.
Few short breaks here and there to catch our breaths, but we had the breakfast break at a lovely spot under the shades of a tree overlooking our cars.
On the way out we headed in a different direction to the usual exit and had some nice big dunes on the way, with spotting of a relaxed Gazal that kept moving but with slow steps away from us.
With one unremarkable stuck, few 2nd tries and very confident drivers, we managed to spend an enjoyable day with a very lovely and friendly group of people.
Scotchyl, usually I'm uncomfortable with passengers in the car while offroading, but I had a great time today, nice chats, lots of gossipping and enjoyable time, you are welcome any time as my copilot.
IDO, great lead, I'm sure the convoy enjoyed your half of the trip more than mine.
Nautibean, your confidence built up during the trip is remarkable, you handle your jeep nicely.. Will send you the bill for the extra On Road lessons
Marco, 1st time to meet you and I'm impressed !!, very good driving, hope to see you more often.
KikiTour, nice driving, I'm sure that once your leg are completely healed, you'll be running this jeep like a gazal.
Voy, great having you in the trip even as a passenger, smiling all the time
Grzegorz, hope you have your car sorted soon, it's unfortunate that you couldn't finish the trip with us, we missed your company.
Snappy, elegant driving, hope you enjoyed the trip.
Jayapriya, nice to see you man after such a long time, keep in touch.
Gladiator, thanks for your help and watchful eye, nice having you onboard, we will need the pics though.
And till next time, may be after Ramadan, take care and drive safe.

It was short trip for me but even this 15 minutes were worth to woke up at 4:20.
On the truck road there was no fog at all.
I didn't have a chance to take pictures. Rest of a morning I spent on a gym
Hope to see you all soon.
