All showed up on time as usual with a single apology via SMS due to personal issues, thanks for the info, we moved to the deflation point as planned and after the briefing with a nice temperature at that time of the day, we started our floating but we had to stop shortly when we had to let IDO go as he wasn't feeling well, hope you get well soon.

The rest of the convoy moved confidently tackling the challenging terrain and moving smoothly, since everyone was doing well, we were ahead of our plans and we reached the coffee shop earlier than planned, which meant a slightly longer chance to sit together and have a nice chat under the shades.

Then we moved on again and had few playing areas where we tried to release the excessive adrenaline.

We went deep inside Sweihan, but an over heated jeep reminded us that the main road is behind our backs, so we had to turn around and take an easy path to release the HOT MONSTER to the tarmac, on the way a tricky pop out was the best demonstration to show, to give everyone a chance to see how to fix it
We crossed the exit gate just before 11 am and 45C

I would like to thanks Mo for the great selected trip an the rest of our group for the participation.

As Mo said we where floating so nicely over the soft sand that we where far ahead of the planed schedule. No stucks, everything runs smooth.
Unfortunately, I faced some heat issues with my car and I was forced to drive sometimes with open windows and the heater full running. Luckyly it was an early bird trip so I could manage it without overheating myself.
The car was previously on the road tested and did not show any indication of heat problems ( even not on my way back home), but the slow driving, deflated tires and up hill driving brings the installed radiator to his limits. I am convinced that an bigger dimensioned radiator will solve this problem.

Luckily this heat issue started late and I hope that the rest of group did have enough time to enjoy the desert before we took the short cut over an sabkat back to the civilisation.

It was a great driving in a very nice group. I would join the same group anytime to takle the sand togehter with them again.

Some people wonder how I can wake up at 3:45am to go participate to our club trips.
I think this short video shows one good example of the magic of AD4x4 trips: nice view on the beautiful landscape, long descent with the sand rolling in front of the car and camels at the bottom! It is really worth waking up early and driving to the meeting point.
