What a 2 days; we all met at Sweihan gas station, Ameen took the lead to the camping site off gate 17. After that we started our trip playing in Sweihan dunes; the track was extremely soft (powder) we had few stuck, we reach a nice big dune and Hani-82 had 2 pop-outs at the same time, thanks Zeer for helping him, Ahmad car had some issue and he managed to fix it. By the time we were ready to drive back it was dark. Again Ameen led us back to the camping site. All did great job, it was great cold night, I'm glad that all tried the food and hope that you liked it.
In the morning Zeer's car the clutch was dead but manage to drive it to Sweihan city , and my car was acting very strange at night, I left it at the camp going back now to tow it to Abu Dhabi .

I still have not recovered!

Everyone met at Sweihan and headed off. First order of the day was to bury the lamb for later, so a place was found, a pit dug, and the lamb placed in to cook slowly whilst we hit the dunes. The track was tricky as it had such a mix of sand, but eventually we found some places where we all could play. The bowls were great, and a gentle introduction to new techniques proved to be a hit with the newbies.

As it got darker, poor Hani managed a double pop-out and once that, and Ahmedhammads car were fixed, we headed back to the buried treasure, I mean the buried lamb, for an evening of chatting, games, and Halloween fun.

It was so nice that other groups came and found us - Tawalbeh, Yehia, Abdoush and his crew and Waqar and his group. It made for a very festive party.

A special thanks to Amin and Thabit for organising and leading our trip, to Abu Samra for sweeping and to everyone else that joined. It was nice to meet some new faces and to share good times with some old faces.

I also wanted to thank Tamara who makes an excellent Marshmallow Chef - and I hope to see her out on many more trips!!

Me and Faragallah had a lot of fun, despite the car issue. BTW, it is the Air Flow Meter, but I'm not sure, why the gearbox acted strange or the TC and the ABS were mulfunctioning. When reached Dubai, I called Cherif and exchanged his Air Flow Meter with mine, and the car was just fine.

I would like to thank Thabit, Amin and the rest of the guys for helping me out starting the car and get it runing till the end of the day.

2 days of adventure. Enjoyed every bit. The route was nice and you all were really helpful.
