ok ... although supposedly moroor legal I see ONE WEAK point in the design of the mounts:
The engine block is aluminium ... the lower 2 screws holding the plate to the block are exposed to PULLING forces when the engine flexes down (there is a pivot point at the upper to screws and a lever arm going to the frame side bushing)
hopefully the force is not too high for the lower aluminium threads

(it is all about the placement of the lever and the pivot point ...)

Well i think since these are the exact mount points, where the engine is mounted also in other cars ...
the threads are decent - and will hold the screws in. And not to forget, the force is not only on the lower screws,
also on the upper ones but not with full force (maybe only 20%-30% top) ...
But this on both sides ... makes some pretty stable mount.

And : this engine is much lighter then the old one ...
Of course I'd love to see the mounts in an escalade...

OK small update ...

I know now, which company i'm waiting for ... it's speartech in the US. They're manufacturing my harness + initially programming the PCM.
Despite they're good ... they're slow because they've more work then they can handle :/ .

Anyway for the rest it's almost good news :

Shifter (with quickshift + - like in the badjero) is mounted ...
as well as an Srt8 Radiator and SRT8 Fan ... so temperature problems adieu i think...
Since the srt8 6,1 and 6,4 produces significantly more heat then the GM LsX ... ( too much heat must be a chrysler thing ) ...

So in the end i got the usual answer to my question : "how long do you think the rest will take from now on ... : "

The f*****g Harness arrived today and they're currently putting everything into my car.
They hope, they can finish it next week ... so i'm counting days now (finally! but not overenthusiastic because ... before i'm not driving the car again - i don't believe anything anymore ... )

Anyway - if it's ready i'll need some sleep in advance ... to be ready for the usual 7 trips a weekend schedule

Shure they should ... but what can i do - i think they want to get rid of my car as soon as possible, too....
So they still need to fix the brake booster (new one), shifter, the srt8 radiator & fan, cai and so on.

For the trips ... any volunteers ?
I don't mind the total number of trips - as long as i'm in the desert the whole weekend
