My Banshee Trip

Post by adiga »

As you know, guys, last Friday I was in a trip out of our club.
We were 14 people on quad runners (banshees). We started our trip on Thursay, 13:00 from Shamkha near Mafraq Hospital. Through the muddy sabkhas, heading east toward the gas station on the truck road between Swiehan road and Al-Faya. Around 30Km refeul and continue heading east to Nahshala exit (25Km). After 6Km, one of us had a roll over. He broke his right arm and dislocated his left shoulder. We couldn't move him or do anything from the pain he was suffering. So I practice my authority as a marshal, and I called 999 for help. They asked me to take him to the nearest tarmac, which we couldn't do. They ended up by sending an air ambulance. I gave our coordinates and within 15 min the chopper arrived and rescued the injured person to Mafraq Hospital.
In this time, we divided into 2 groups. 1 group, with 7 bikes, proceeded to the next point, and all the way to Swiehan round about rest house.
Others went back to the gas station were we have to put our bikes in a trailor cuz it was too dark to continue riding to our destination.
We reached Swiehan rest house 19:00. We settled there. We had out BBQ dinner.
Next morning, we left the camp 9:00, heading west to Nahshala for refeuling (were we saw Batal and his crew going to Al-Hayer) 45Km. Refeul and heading to Al-Faya, 25Km. Refeul and keep heading to Shamkha, 32 Km. We reached at 12:00.

It was real fun, and alot of adventure. The total distance was around 160Km on Banshees. We were so exhausted, but it was something different.

The injured person is fine now. His left shoulder was relocated. His right arm is hanged to his neck.
