My first post kind of set the tone for the next couple of years
Seeking advice, but then after the anit 2 1/2 years ago, i have 5 stars and never expected i would reach that or have as much fun and make so many good friends when i first logged in. thank you

I am a newbie to AD4x4 and not been on a trip yet (reason as follows).

I have recently bought a 2008 JK with tornado kit with 40k on the clock and had it checked by Jeep dealer who said the rear prop shaft would need replacing.

I know little about cars and I am not sure if this is true / why it is going thus reluctant to take to the desert. I would appreciate any advice or if you know somewhere I can get it checked or can get it done cheaper than at dealer for AED2,200 plus labour++.

Looking forward to ANIT trip once i can get this resolved.

Hello everybody

We are Michael and Katharina Becker from Germany and we are now 1 year and 10 months in Abu Dhabi.
Michael is 39 years old and he is finace manager for a German Company " ND -Satcom " in Abu Dhabi.
We both enjoy driving in the desert with our Nissan Pathfinder and the Toyota Prado.
