Vehicle Registration Rules

Post by Big-G »

Some one told me today that the rules are changing and all vehicles over 15 years can not be transferred to another owner and at 20 they have to be scrapped!

Any one know if there is any truth in this rumour!

I know of two Discos that are running on borrowed time if its true!

I thought all Discos are running on borrowed time despite how old they are :-)

No its not borrowed time and its not just Discos, 99% of people forget there is something under the bonnet that needs looking at occasionally and feeding oil and water......

How did it get into the press if thats the only place it is....

.
Previous 4x4's
3' lifted, offset wheeled, LWB Jeep Cherokee XJ (really miss this monster)

Yup, I did copy it from the national newspaper... Also heard it on radio 2.. this will include Abu Dhabi / Duabi not sure about other emirates, but I think as the traffic laws and regulations are moving towards UAE wide. i.e. you can register car and renew your driving permit from any emirate...so it would be one rule...
