Newbie Trip at Sweihan PM 15 Jan 2021 –Trip Report

We all met at Gate 12 Sweihan at 1400. I conducted ANIT and Safety briefing for the participants. The convoy comprised following:

1 Marshal ( Lead by Irfpk)
3 Marshals Support ( Marshals Iguana, Pharoah, and Mark)
9 Newbies
2 ANITs

We started our trip after setting up of convoy order. SimonSunny was my second lead and Koona was sweeper of convoy. Thanks Simon and Koona for solid second Lead and sweeper. We started slowly with smooth and easy track for ANITs and later increased the level for learning Newbie level skills. We had numerous second tries and stucks which all were handled by Marshals supporting Trip and Sweeper (under supervision of Marshals). All drivers did well and showed confidence in handling their vehicles.

It may be mentioned here that Gate 12 area (Sweihan) was found to be crowded with other offroaders. The ride was bumpy because of tracks everywhere. We had to stop our convoy number of times for safety reasons.

We ended trip in time at 1730 at inflation pt (Gate 12 Sweihan). After signing of log books, some of us headed for BBQ point whereas other drivers decided to leave. We met with other convoys by FidoDido and Bisho at BBQ pt. All enjoyed BBQ, Weather, and sumptuous Kunafa prepared by Adiga,Pshasha and Bishoo.

I am extremely thankful to Marshal Iguana, Pharoah and Mark for supporting the trip.
