Welcome to the club Ivan. You seem to be so dangerous. If you are expecting to be a Marshal next trips then after the 3rd trip you'll request to be a Founder.
Keep it up and hope to see Ivan4x4 Club soon. Don't laugh, we started off like that in a local internet club in UAE and we all actually met there and then decided to make abudhabi 4x4.

I was just announcing you as a Marshal now Ivan, but I found out that you registered for the next week end trip so I preferred to wait for the next week and announce you as a Founder
You were great today actually. Keep it up and always listen to Salah and Khaiwi advices and for sure in a short time you will become a Marshal.
By the way guys, just for general information Marshals are decided and approved by Khaiwi our Chief Marshal. We just make the announcements.
For all of you, please read the "about us", it have the story of AbuDhabi4x4, the initial Grading System, the club management and some useful information about the club.
The new grading system is currently under preparation by Adiga and Khaiwi and will be announced shortly.

And for those who want a shortcut to Marshal position my bank account is xxx-xxx-xxxxx-x hehehehehehe
Gentlemen, being a marshal is not a privillage to more facilities in the club etc, on the contrary it's a major overhead and responsibility and pure dedication to the club in the first place and to all members especially when in the desert.
As a club or as I find it a growing family, we are "recruiting" marshals however the final criteria and profile is not finalised yet. Generally speaking, even if the member is highly experienced in offroad driving, he/she needs to have the right attitude, stick to the club rules, etc,...
Please bare with us a bit till we workout some trip rules and grading system.
Regards,

Now I know where are you getting the money for the new Dana 60khaiwi wrote:And for those who want a shortcut to Marshal position my bank account is xxx-xxx-xxxxx-x hehehehehehe
Khaiwi is right guys. Before we made this club I though being a marshal or a founder is an easy job, just get the people together and go to the dessert. We have the routes in our GPS and people will enjoy and drive. However, I discovered that it's a lot more than that.
You don't know how much effort is done by us to maintain this club happy. The administration of the club, organizng the trips according to the members experience, giving hints and tips to the newbies, expolring new route, administration of the site (Which is only done by Megamoe - I call him sometimes at strange times to tell him that there is something wrong in the site and he have to find a solution). Members call us most of the time for advices in thier mods or help in fixing things in thier cars. My God, it's headache, but we enjoy it.
The trip leader never enjoys driving in the trip he is leading because he have to explore the route, take care of the people he is leading and choose the route that is acceptable to everybody and make sure that we are driving on a safe route.
Anyway, Hope that all of you guys become Marshals soon. Maybe Khaiwi can start a Marshal Training sessions for those who are interested (Hint).
