Tis ok mishmumkin - at least she had the courage to take on heart attack hill, even if she did neglect to remember her belt....I know of a certain red rubicon that would never do that... ...and yes I have done that hill in my '87 Pathy with open diffs, scraped the heck out of it too. Down the hill is much much easier than up it. Borrego Springs was my backyard in SanDog, lovely place.
Multiple mistakes by driver and spotter...the driver was too excited and forgot her belt...it happens just watch on club trips...and the Spotter and Driver where not on the same page signals wise...to me he was telling her to watch the riser to her right, a direct pointed finger means "watch out for that obstacle" not "go there" and she thought he meant to steer towards it. tis why most good marshalls will stand where they want you to go then step aside, so there is no question of what they want you to do. Its also ashamed that the observers did not take note of her lack of seat belt and reminder her like happens on many a club trip...
