what should be really implemented is the flag pole... And i know that it does not please everybody (doesn't it Mike???).
For other items, as said, there is always someone to share.
Nevertheless, as it was suggested, one of the higher grade should always bring a first aid kit (a real one), and let the Marshal know he has it (can be done at registration time : Mr X, phone number, 1st Aid. Even better if he is trained! (on the way, thanks MAc!).
keep it up! we are here for the fun eventually!

Ok to give you an idea of how I organise all my safety and recovery gear :-
I have 4 bags ...
1) First Aid Kit - this is NEVER kept in the car. In the house it lives near the cooler bag (which lives near the front door so is always in line of sight as I am leaving ) These are taken in and out of the car for every trip.
2 Recovery Bag 1 - this stays in the car during the winter months, but during the summer months it is kept in the house (near the cooler bag) because of some of the contents, some of the items in here are:
WD40, spare batteries (different types), duct tape, tie-clips (different lengths), bunjee cords (different lengths), spare tyre gauges, 2 different types of tyre/punture repair kits, gloves, variety of plastic clips (Jeep), radiator repair sealant, superglue .... you get the the picture .... all the odds and ends you might need to fix/repair something
3 Recovery Bag 2 - this stays in the car all year
Warn Winch compressor airhose and accessories
4 Recovery Bag 3 - this stays in the car all year
MasterPull Bag - with all snatch straps (I currently have 4), shackles (all rated and 2 different sizes) and an extra pair of gloves
In addition to the above I also permanently keep (stowed and stashed in different places around the car) the following :
tyre deflators and tyre guages, 2 jacking boards/plates, spare compressor, shovel, torch, charger for GPS, flag and flag pole, basic tool kit, allen key set, pen knife, spare instant BBQ set, 4x1.5 Lt bottles of water, towels, paper towels - as well as my hi-lift jack which is permanently mounted behind the rear seat
.... so now you all know why the Tank looks so untidy and full on trips!
My GPS also migrates between the house and car during the summer months due to the heat - but in the winter I leave it in the car and cover with a cap.
Takes a bit of organising at the beginning - but all I have to do is carry at the max 3 bags between home and the car and that is depending on what time of year it is.
