A club Raffle
So here's the deal guys and gals:
Buy a raffle ticket for 100aed (I mean - what else can you get for 100 dibs these days?) - and you will be entered into the raffle to win - drum roll please.........
1st PRIZE: 300aed ACE Hardware gift voucher 2nd PRIZE: 200aed ACE Hardware gift voucher
(need that new compressor - well you could be the lucky winner with a voucher to go towards paying for it )
and you will be helping support the club - ALL PROCEEDS TO THE CAMPAIGN FUND!
*Tickets will go on sale during next weekend's trips*
*The raffle draw will take place on Saturday June 28 2008*
Gr8 idea Jax and I am in on this as well. I just wonder if we should combine our stuff? My "100 Dhs fun" and this Raffle you came up with which is a brilliant idea. So far I have 8 persons on the fun that I can add to your Raffle. What do you say?
Maybe there are other good ideas we can use. Anyone want to sell kisses? A dinner date perhaps?
I guess when it comes to me I could start any auction and the winner gets one kiss from me. The second prize is two kisses etc That will probably get people spend a fortune because I dont think anyone wants to be the last member who gets 986 kisses from me 8O

PS. maybe this is something that can be done every few months, as a way of raisng much needed funds

There are many things we can do to raise the money. For example - we could charge 50 AED for every recovery otherwise we will leave them (or me) stuck in the sand.
I will bring mine and JCs raffle fee tomorrow and hope that the rest take one step forward too.

Using your own recovery strap = 10 AED Discount
Using one of your own schackles = 5 Dhs Discount
Using two of your own schackles = 10 Dhs Discount
Providing recovery driver with a nice cool drink after succesful recovery = 5 Dhs Discount
Maximum discount will then be 25 Dhs = 50% which is not bad I guess
Added to that I plan to have a customer loyalty program so if you get pulled out 5 times you get the sixth for free and it is not limited to the same trip. This will be called "Vikings sand miles loyalty program"
