Trip announced for Friday Jan 25th 2019.

All gathered at Sweihan wedding hall at 1:15 p.m. we were a little late and had to wait for some due to wrong location given on google map. We got in contact and managed to move to deflation point around 1:45 p.m.

I was supported by Marshal Tariq Al Hosani, Marshal Karam Al Janabi and Advance driver Ahmed Omar... to my surprise, I was pleased to see iguana joining our trip and giving support through out. Thank you guys..

At the deflation point, we came to know about one additional car that missed their convoy from another club and followed ours to deflation point. We have welcomed the couples to join our team and delivered the trip briefing focusing on the safety equipment, behaviors and driving techniques.

The drive started around 2:15 p.m. heading towards Tilal Sweihan camp to give chance for all to participate and enjoy their time in the event organized by Bin Hamouda Group.

The trip second lead was Ahmed Omar and Marshal Tariq for the sweep which I need to thank them so much for their support all the way through out the trip. The Convoy consisted of 10 ANIT/Newbie drivers and started really easy getting through the small dunes area. The convoy was moving smoothly with some minor second tries.

Some parts of this area, we had to navigate our way trying to avoid the bushes...later one car had a punctured tire that could be due to the hard edges of the dry bushes. The driver and support team all assisted to replace the tire with no delay..

Through out the trip, we have experienced one pop out and few second tries that concluded successfully. Overall, all the drivers managed to drive and control their cars in an excellent way....well done ..

We have enjoyed driving and taking rests and managed to take the sandy round at 5:00 p.m. and reached Tilal Sweihan camp area around 5:15 p.m.

The trip was smooth and fun and hope that all have enjoyed it as well.
