7 drivers met up at 7:15 PM at Sweihan BBQ deflation point. After briefing, convoy was set up with Mr. George (Stephan) as 2nd lead, followed by caro (Carolyn), futureshock999 (Robert), billet (Ajesh), ishampm ( Mohammed) and sweeper Rumblebee (Mike).

We took direction Naghra dune started off nice and easy and everybody were doing really well. Caro’s Hummer now had a new clutch which made it much easier to master the technical driving. Robert had a new light bar on the roof that made the desert bright as in the day. Ajesh had replaced his old car with a nicely fitted FJ, ishampm was doing his first night drive and although I am very much a FJ guy, I must say that Rumblebee’s jeep is really really cool. Talking about brightness, the night was very beautiful with almost full moon, we would probably have managed pretty well without lights at all.

We followed easy track all the way to Nagra where we took a long break. Going back, we headed into the bigger dunes and it got a bit more tricky, but again, everybody were doing very well. 2nd lead Mr. George had to change the track few times as I got in to little difficult terrain. Few second tries, but not a single one needed recovery.

Was a very pleasant evening, enjoyed it. See you soon again.
