REPORT: Intermediates Fun in Sweihan (9/11/18)

Post by shaalan »

Trip Lead: Shaalan
Supporting Marshals: Adiga and K-alhosani

Second Lead: Bahhar
Sweeper: Mister Oliver

Great four wheelers:
Saadehsoudah
Mr George
The Baron
Atari77
Pshasha

All met in Sweihan wedding hall and drove to the deflation point in timely manner.
Safety and trip briefing conducted and supported by Marshal Adiga putting focus on few safety related conditions.
The drive started towards Nagra at an easy pace allowing all to worm up and get in control. We came across number of convoys during our trip and so tried to always find green tracks to avoid any risk of convoy following the wrong track.

Few minutes were enough for warm up and level was then increased a bit so all can enjoy a little fun. We had several second tries done successfully and two stocks which formed an opportunity for some to practice recovery.

The trip went smoothly and had fun all the way to Nagra where we took a longer rest before heading back to BBQ point.

Our second lead Bahhar and sweeper Mister Oliver were more than excellent in their roles keeping the convoy on track and monitor. Saadehsoudah shown great skills during the drive while Mr George was very successful in every fun and managed to always be in my mirror every time I look back.
The Baron was very stable and in full control of his Nissan and I liked his pace in driving.
Atari77 drive was great but his control over his reactions and keeping very calm during difficult situations gives him an edge over many drivers who may panic and take wrong decisions.. well done Atari77.
Last but not least Pshasha drive was always successful and very confident. Giving just the right power is something that takes time to learn and I believe Pshasha definitely has this great skill.

I have really enjoyed the trip and all of you were more than excellent drivers. Thank you.

Special thanks to our Marshals Adiga and K alhosani for their support and guidance during the trip. We missed our brother Khalid Al Hosani on our way back from Nagra due to some engine issues he had in his car. He had to leave us and take the gatch round back safely. We wish to see him back soon inshaALLAH.

Thank you all and see you soon in another trip.

Thank you Shaalan for this trip, I really enjoyed it with such perfect track, guidance, and directions. I enjoyed every minute specially when you had to change the track in the way back. It got more interesting.
Thank you also for the nice professional words, as the track was beautifully challenging. And I believe the whole group did very well.
Looking forward to join more of your trip 👍

Dear Shaalan,
It was such a pleasure to dive in your company, to support the team and to see new friends as well as old friends!
When are you going to organise your next trip :) ?
