The trip was supported by Abdul Qadir *****, k-alhosani *****, and tompa-bjorka ****.

All met on time on a lovely Friday morning in Al Khazna, some still in their halloween costumes. After a briefing and radio check, we departed from the deflation point in the following convoy order:

- Flaghunter **** / Michal (lead)
- Geert *** (second lead)
- Kharadly *** / Mohamed
- Mira ***
- Tompa-bjorka **** / Thomas (official sweeper)
- Abdul Qadir ***** watching from all sides
- k-alhosani ***** who joined later supporting from all sides

We warmed up in the rollercoaster playground practicing side sloping, avoiding side-crests at the beginning of the trip, since it was Mohamed's first advance trip. As we were slowly moving in the Sweihan direction, we met up with Khaled who joined our trip. We then stepped up the level a little bit and Geert decided to get stuck (first or second time in his career, impossible!) on top of a crest. Thomas did a good recovery.

Then Flaghunter decided to get stuck in a very interesting way right next to a fence... Lesson learned, don't go anywhere near the fence. Thanks to Abdul Qadir's and Khaled's creativity and experience (and Michal's winch), we managed to safely get out of the situation and continued the trip in advance style. At about 10:45, roughly 10km (straight-line) distance from the deflation point, we decided to take a break and turn around towards where we started. We made it safely back to inflation at 11:30am, with one or two minor stucks along the way. We covered a distance of about 45km.

All drivers did very well and demonstrated good control of their vehicles. Thank you Khaled for your feedback on leading (esp on communication), thanks all who supported and thanks to all participants for a great morning!

Thanks Michal and support for a nice morning drive. Yeah, my stuck, about that It was not my first stuck, but the first one riding the crest. I actually am very happy I had this experience, next time I know better when to move down. I am still waiting for Thomas to post the picture. Cheers all, see you soon!
