In the light of the club's annual iftar and its 17th anniversary, we had a massive gathering forming around 7 convoys across the club's three drive categories.

Announcing the Intermediate convoy, I had massive participation of members registering for the trip that we had to allocate the registrants to 3 different convoys: lead by myself, and by my brothers Marshals Ahmad and Thomas.

My trip was eventful as I had the newly upgraded members to intermediate. We have witnessed various types of recoveries, second tries, and popouts, which made the trip so much fun and a learning curve to the drivers. All in All, I couldn't be more satisfied seeing the guys evolving. Moreover, I had the pleasure of receiving two guests on my Convoy; Dr. Khaled owning JeepZilla, and the iconic Mr.Sohaib Al Qariouty. Both were of great support to the convoy and were there for every 2nd try, recovery, and popout.

Thank you so much for everyone that joined. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Mustafa for organizing the intermediate leg of trips on the occasion of the 2023 Iftar gathering & 17th club anniversary. I had the pleasure to lead one of the 3 intermediate convoys.

After deflation, safety and trip briefing we made our way towards East warming up in some smaller dunes. We later found some nice an flowy tracks further East. We checked out the Northern end of the area bordering Sweihan road and finally made our way back to the camp where we arrived exactly 18:00 h as planned.

Although it was the first intermediate trip for 2 of the drivers everyone did very well. We had only a few second tries and one stuck by myself – for demonstration purposes.

Thanks Julius for an excellent second lead and Bassem for solid sweeping. Reji was supporting the trip.

I was in the group lead by the amazing marshal Mustafa and supported by the ever so cool Shishani.

This was my 2nd intermediate trip and 1st time in the Tilal swaihan neighborhood:) and boy was the sand so much different from what I’ve seen thus far.

Marshal Mustafa chose some interesting tracks, some technical. Some involved speed & momentum. The drive was lots of fun and was a learning curve.

Thank you marshal Mustafa as always for your guidance and mentorship and to my fellow convoy members for being amazing and encouraging. And a special thanks goes to Peter as well for his involvement in encouraging me in one of my 2nd goes.

Thank you Thomas (and support drivers) for a great first weekend as intermediate with two trips. Some challenging sections for me but safe and solid intro to intermediate driving with really nice drives. Thank you Micheal also for guiding me out of my embarrassing stuck after a break! Can’t wait for my next trip!
