After deflation, safety and trip briefing we made our way through the farms, entered some smaller dunes, warming up, then back on the gatch road going further North, entering the dunes again. The first part was not so nice, going through an area with farm activities, lots of rubbish and debris and a couple of fences.

However, after half an hour into the trip I handed the lead to James and that’s where the fun began. James guided us through some technical areas but also found some nice side-slopes. We slowly made our way to the West interrupted by a couple of breaks. Towards midday the temperature increased and the contours became more difficult to see. Nobody got stuck but we had quite a few second tries.

We found our exit point next to the Al Faya road roundabout, where the trip finished. It was fun following James and all the drivers managed the challenges well. Thanks Sunil for 2nd and 3rd leading and Drew for sweeping. Michael provided valuable advice and support as always.

Thanks all for joining and see you soon again in the sand.
