It was time again to do an intermediate Night Drive in the Al Faya area. With 2 short notice cancellation a total of 5 cars met at the agreed location. After deflation, safety and trip briefing we went into the dunes to warm up and get used to the terrain.

The sand looked dry and normal on the surface but underneath it was still wet and firm.
After half a hour or so we were driving in parallel to a crest when one driver and the one following him turned down before the end of the crest and were facing the rock formations that happened to be at the foot of the dune. We successfully recovered both cars one after the other without any damage and continued our journey through the night. We had one longer break around 21:00 h for star gazing and trying to find the comet, but the moon was too bright.

From there we made our way back to the starting point were we arrived safely just after 22:00 h.
All drivers performed really well. And it was a pleasure driving with you.

Shameem and Ameen acted as reliable second lead and solid sweeper respectively, both with excellent communication.
