We met 13:00 where the gatch road to Arabian Nights village turns off Razeen road. Everybody was on time except me, being a few minutes late. We drove about 15 km down the gatch before entering the sand, deflating and trip & safety briefing.

The sun was shining, it was warm and the sand was soft. The five intermediate drivers did well and we had a few second tries. One driver was unlucky to have three pop-outs along the way. However, this gave the rest of the convoy a chance to rest and everyone to learn how to fix a pop-out.

Otherwise it was a mellow drive with a mixture of technical driving and small and medium dunes.

We finished the trip on the gatch road at 17:00h.

I would like to thank everyone joining and in particular Dinto and Kane for second leading and sweeping respectively. Jean and Michael provided us with much appreciated support and advice.
