I arrived 5 min earlier, but everybody was already there. Everybody was 4 drivers in the end including myself. In the morning we had still 6 registrations and 4 on the waiting list.

However, it was a nice and short convoy. We started on the left of the gatch road warming- up with some substantial side-slopes and some wake-up challenges. Once everyone was fully awake we practiced one by one on a giant side-slope and later on a fine big bowl.

After the first hour driving we crossed the Sabkha and changed to the right side of the gatch road. Here we could increase the pace and meander through the local halfpipes.

Finally we reached the big bowl North of the Sabkha and continued our practice here. With day light fading we left the bowl and finished the trip already in the dark at 18:15 h

Temperature was nice with a light breeze even at the start at 15:00 h. Season has truly arrived.

We had no stuck, just a few self-recoveries and second tries. All drivers did really well living up to the challenges. We also did some clean-up in the bowl, removing a number of glass bottles and plastic stuff.

Fully agree with the previous comments, it was a great drive - good weather, nice track and some challenging situations that provided a learning opportunity. Lastly, excellent company. Thank you guys!
