This was one of the most interesting drives i have led.

A convoy of 15 cars was assembled at the shops. 4 drivers were having their first drive on the sand with AD4x4. And the rest were a mix between newbie, intermediate, and advance.

The below members were my team for the drive.

The members did extremely well today overcoming the area’s technical obstacles as well as the easy climbs and side slopes that came across the way. The pace was smooth and the presence of first timers didnt hold us from reaching our target which was iftar bowl. Upon reaching there, the Anit and Newb members got to watch the intermediate and advance members attempting iftar bowls several times. As we took off heading towards the farms exit, one of the member’s cars starter decided to fail him. So Mr. Tarek Kiswani, along with Shadi, stepped up from being passenger to the driver’s seat and towed the car out to the farms. Once we safely parked the car on the tarmac, we headed back inside to the shops and ended the trip to initiate the intermediate night drive.

Special thanks to my support team today; Amir, Shadi, Peter, Mohd Aqtash, and Marco. You guys have managed to keep such a big convoy in order. Well done.

As for the rest of the team, it was a pleasure meeting the new faces and seeing our current members. Excellent driving to all.

Just the right amount of Fun & fun. First time seeing the views from the top of the Iftar bowl, spectacular.

Newbies did a great job with very few stops and a few self-recoveries.
