Five drivers met up for a Newbie drive at Sweihan BBW point in the afternoon 30 April. It was myself, Explorer Baron, Newbies zorro7 and Arlan and ANIT Tommyboy. After proper ANIT-brief, we set the convoy with Zorro7 as second lead, followed by Tommyboy and Arlan. The Baron was watching from sides. Started out with teaching basic driving skills, stopped after a while to adjust tire pressures and then went for some descents and smaller straight crests. Drivers showed good control, no issues. Few second tries and one or two snatch strap operations, all part of learning.

Made it to the power lines, went up the dirt road and then turned towards the bigger dunes direction Nagra. Now pace picked up a bit and we climbed some bigger dunes. All went well, around 6PM turned around and headed back towards BBQ which we reached just before sunset. It was a good drive, all did well and gained experiences that will be useful in coming drives.
