Report of the Newbie trip of Sunday April 24th

After a very pleasant bivouac with Thomas we reached the meeting point at 7:00 am. Everyone arrived on time, thank you.

The team was composed of :
1- John ***** JK
2- Nanda ** GX460 as second leader
3- Jens* JK
4- Christian*Sylverado
5- Jean-luc* Pajero
6- John C * Pajero as sweeper

And Marshal Thomas as big supervisor.

After a briefing about safety and newbie driving, we headed to the dunes right after the first farm.

As usual we started with an easy course to warm up. The drivers did very well for the first half hour, so after the break I upped the level and started doing some nice climbs and descents.

I didn't see any drivers taking any risks, we had a few of the usual stuck on the ridge crossings but nothing too bad.

A lot of fun along the trip that all the drivers did very well. We had a good time and the temperature was still cool.

Thanks John for organizing the trip and picking a such a senic track. Even though I was a passenger on this trip I still enjoyed myself.

Some really fun and challenging sections! Thank you for organizing the trip. Bu Tais is an awesome area; Few signs of people, no trash and great dunes!
