We all met at the deflation point around 2pm. We were in total 9 cars: Marshal Ahmed, Marshal Mustafa, Marshal Serkan, Zak (Explorer), Mikkel (Expert), Engin (Expert), Ozgur (Advance) and Ibrahim (Advance). Deflated, had the briefing, channel set and convoy formed. Kindly asked Marshal Serkan to be my 2nd lead, Engin official Sweeper, Zak and other Marshals as supports at the end of the convoy.

I have been to the area before but minding the occasional barbed wire and potential buldozer tracks we kept a cautious medium tempo, trying to do as much side sloping, switching and side cresting as possible at a controlled speed until we reach the famous bowls of Sweihan where we played the most. Terrain and especially bowls has defn changed since I have been there last time. Buldozer tracks seem to be healing and didnt create any major problems. Luckily there were no other convoys and not many tracks so we had a good run. Zak had an issue with his tire but while were playing around they sorted it quickly and rejoined.

Reaching bowls, we took our time, tried different runs climbs and switches one by one. Good runs at Gbowl, steep climb with switch at the top at DeathBowl and double switch on our way out on 360bowl were some highlights. Some steep climbs as well as steep descends too. It was a hot afternoon making it more challenging but the convoy did all intended.

After the last bowl we split into two as Ahmed, Mustafa, Zak and Mikkel continued towards Khazna exit and rest of us head back to Sweihan, from where then back to Dubai. Ibrahims JK had a mechanical issue for which we needed a stop, but thanks to teamwork by Serkan Engin and Ozgur we were back on the road shortly. After that we took the easy route not to push the cars and finished on time after around 36kms, where we started. No stucks and only a few 2nd tries. However a masterful recovery by Ahmed, who picked my camera box including the add-on 4K lens and spare battery (he even found the cleaning cloth) at halfway on the slope of Death bowl! Its still a mistery how i managed to carry it there (on the fender) during my climb before dropping it, but after the successful bidding we got reunited

Emre you have put together a flawless track, daring, yet safe at times. You have considered the numerous number of cars driving behind you while choosing your route. I dont wanna seem as “the marshal doing the speech here” but i am honestly very proud of where your driving and leading skills have reached. Keep it up my friend and looking forward to more of these drives together.

Very Nice Trip Emre. I really enjoyed the afternoon with all of you and following your track. Nice to meet all the Dubai crowd as well, we welcome you more to Abu Dhabi we have many more spots to show you.

Seems like I missed drive with one of the best advance gang of club I like to follow..

What a truly amazing drive it was. As Mustafa already mentioned, this was my first drive in Sweihan Area and it was fascinating!

Hats off to everyone for their impeccable control of their vehicles and also for Emre on his great lead, always keeping us informed of all obstacles promptly and he displayed absolutely great communication as a trip leader. This ensured everyone had a great time.

Big thanks to Serkan, engin for helping out when my car had some issues.

All in all, cannot wait to repeat this experience.

I really enjoyed the trip Emre and lovely choice of track. Well done controlling and managing the convoy in the bowls and making us play in one direction and entering one by one safely.
Last time we drove together in this area when you were advance and today you were leading with great skills. I’m Very proud brother and looking forward for the next drive with you.

It was an enjoyable afternoon in Sweihan with an amazing group of people who are also amazing drivers. I mean, obviously that was expected with the number of marshals and explores in the convoy. An all-star team!

From start to finish, we had very good pace and had great fun side slooping, climbing and switching at the top of the death bowl, and some more high-dune switching action.

A big thanks to Emre for organizing the trip and leading, to the marshals and explorers for supporting, and to everyone else for joining the fun!

This was my first time seeing the famous bowls of Sweihan and it felt so much different than driving in Dubai. I mean good different and intimidating at times.

Thank you Emre for the track selection. I enjoyed this drive very much. Your attention to the safety of the team was impeccable.

It was a wonderful day. We were at most popular dunes of sweihan with great people.
