This was my first lead trip and I am very happy with the way it turned out. Thanks to Marshal Pharaoh for coming out in support for the trip.

We all met at Al Khazna Deflation point around 2 PM. The safety briefing was done in detail and basis concepts of side cresting were explained. Marshal took over the briefing and added more points which I can keep in mind for future briefing.

The track was initially chosen to go over medium dunes at a steady pace. The sand was especially hard on top of the crests and were quite rounded and bumpy at some places due to rain. This helped some of the members who had fewer advance drives as they could safely try cresting in a relaxed pace.

On the way there were some 2nd tries and some where stuck on top of crest which helped some members to learn Advance recovery.
After playing around for sometime, in consultation with the Marshal chose to crest over smaller dunes as the pace of the convoy would be more smooth.

Marshal guided us and gave feedback which helped us a lot, especially helped Umar who was not comfortable on 4High. Shaju and Sam did a great job as 2nd Lead and Sweep respectively which was useful for me. There was good communication between the drivers whenever there was 2nd tries and stuck.
