The trip has been organized by Marshal Sai (Sai27). Participants were;
SandSailor - Emre (partial lead / 2nd lead)
Kayra - Engin (partial lead / 2nd lead)
Marcolino333 - Marco
Waleedaljaberi - Waleed (Sweeper)
All met at Al Madam meeting point on time. After deflating Sai gave a short briefing and explained that he will start the trip as lead but after a short warm-up it will be partially lead by Emre and Engin who had been recently promoted to Expert. Engin gave his first official briefing in fashion with Sai's toy Jeep and the convoy started its journey with Sai as the leader, Engin as 2nd lead and Waleed as official Sweeper.
Last weeks heavy rain has impacted the sand where it was rock hard at times and soft mud elsewhere and heavy tracks everywhere. After a short intro and warmup, Emre took the lead and we played around Madam high dunes from one to another all the way to Super Bowl. There were a couple of other convoys in the vicinity so at times we took our time, tested our skills, did some climbs, cresting, side sloping and switching at times. Started with a slow tempo and increased gradually. At Super Bowl, Engin took the lead, take the convoy to Super Bowl run and then increased the tempo continuing the journey towards Badayer shops, chasing bigger dunes ion the way.
Everyone was very controlled with enough power and speed where needed. No stucks. Marco continued to impress with much more control in terms of speed and enough momentum at crests, did very well especially in a couple of tricky climbs. Waleed, testing his new beadlocks, has been spot on with the level of power and limited drift this time. Sai kept his eye on the convoy all times, despite his upset stomach and we finished on time at Badayer shops.
Thank you Marshal Sai for giving us the opportunity for our partial leads and Waleed and Marco for the great drive, your patience with us and also your feedback. Definitely a new chapter started for us in our off-roading journey and its a great pleasure to drive with such good company and be part of AD4x4 family.
See you all on sand soon
