Dxb Yalla Advance

Post by MustafaHabash »

Yesterday was a totally new experience to all of us. Hard sand, dusty weather, yet great company and easy spirits.

We started the drive easy and nice as announced in the briefing. Shortly after, I increased the pace and targeted all sizes of dunes. We switched, crested, drifted, and enjoyed each and every single opportunity ahead of us. The convoy was amazing and full of talents. God bless.

Nevertheless, we had a good deal of popouts starting with Marco. Followed by Walid where his tire refused to pop in its place so we had to install the spare tire, and the Walid again just 5 mins before reaching Shoueb. However, the teamwork, easy spirit, coordination, patience, and communication is what got us through these incidents smartly and safely. This is AD4x4 DNA.

Thank you Engin for amazing Sweeping work. Flawless as usual.

Same goes to Walid 2nd leading. You have entered our club and proven your sense of responsibility in no time.

Emre thank you for taking over Walid’s position when required.

Marco improving skills and impressive driving for a completely stock jeep. Good driving man.

Marshal Serkan, welcome back, thank you for joining, always an honor driving with you.

Looking forward to the next drive with you guys.

These boys are the best to drive with them, the drive becomes enjoyable with there driving skills.

Mustafa is a good leader love to join his trips, always he will chose a good track with more challenges to test our cars and learn more skills and of course to get brave.

Thanks for the rest of the team for helping me out with my Popouts and now I appreciate the Value of having a BeadLock wheels especially for my Drifter short wheels base VTC

Thanks all and hope to see you all soon on the DUNES✋🏽✌🏽✌🏽
Regards

What to say guys it is ALWAYS a pleasure to drive behind Mustafa and I really enjoyed the rest of the convoy, nice people and good spirit. Even at the third pop out of the day people where laughing and joking on it. I decided to join last minute and I had a very nice time with all of you guys. The chosen track was both technical and challenging with a couple of big dune to climb and crest. I really need to refine my driving in order to not get thrown out from the dune's crest but this is the fun part no?
Tks everyone for the amazing day and see you soon guys :)

Another signature trip from Mustafa, full of excitement, action and fun.

Fast paced, lots of turns, climbs, cresting, switching, drifting, bumps as well as thinking twice- will we be able to do that? yes we can-. Terrain was the same old but rockhard sand bcs of the rain mostly and tricky on the higher slopes, as well as some crests. Sometimes good traction with no drift and sometimes not at all getting sucked in wet heavy sandswamp (and the question of 4H vs 4L). Mustafa didnt miss a crest to shave or switch, really enjoyable trip.

No stucks but had a few popouts as a result, all sorted one way or another in good teamwork, yielding some lessons learned; not only on style of driving but also on bead grips, apex, jacks, positioning of jacks on base and how to sort problems out. Its part of the game and the neverending learning process.

Marco continued to impress coping up well learning very quickly. Waleed had few chances to show the sheer-power of the VTC in a controlled fashion but also what it can do on such terrain without beadlocks too.

Thank you Mustafa for the trip and Marshal Serkan for keeping an eye on us. Always a pleasure to drive with you guys Engin, Waleed and Marco.

See you all again on sand soon!

On this drive I experienced for the first time the desert after heavy rains and with heavy winds. It is a different feeling. The grip is well as the ground gets solid but then at unexpected moments it feels like you are driving in the mud. The car fishtails and it gets quite entertaining to keep it under control. Views were spectacular. Sometimes, especially when we were on top of the dunes with heavy winds, it felt like we were driving on a different planet.

Mustafa gave me the official sweeper role and I did my best to keep an eye on the team. Marshal Serkan followed us from behind and helped when necessary. We had three pop-outs, one with Marco and two with Waleed. We had few second tries, no stuck or snatch recoveries. While fixing the pop outs, we experienced first-hand that apex valve and bead grip rims make a pop out difficult to fix. We had a near miss with Waleed when his car fell off the jack. We were lucky that he was quick in responding to get himself out of bumper's reach and the spare tire held the vehicle when it fell of the jack. A lesson learnt there is to ensure the jack is properly placed on the base before lifting the vehicle.

We started before 3pm at Badayer and ended after dark at Shoueib.

Marco has made huge progress since I last drove with him. I am very impressed with his improved driving skills. Waleed is steadily making progress to become an expert driver I think. Always a pleasure to drive with my bro, Emre.

Thanks Mustafa for the exciting drive and challenging track. Thanks Serkan for arranging this drive with Mustafa.
I truly enjoy driving with you guys.

Best,
Engin

Mustafa, Thanks for the drive. It was a wonderful day with great community.

I had guests from abroad and was planning to take them to desert. However the weather did not get stable. But at the end I noticed that the rain will continue all the week based on the weather forecast. So it was a good chance to join your drive and all went perfectly. My guests enjoyed a lot and we had a lot of funs. The track you had chosen was perfect, convoy pace was perfect and everybody did great.

I noticed huge improvement on Marco's skills and he did very well with his stock car, Waleed was great as usual with his Capsule. Emre & Engin did great and they proof that its the time for them for the next level.

Thanks everybody for the day and see you all on Sunday!
