Badayar…Good thing is that no one today in this part of dunes except us… Zero traffic except two safari cars at the end.… All reached on time at 7.45am.. Thank you Davor for your company all the way from Abudhabi, Trip was planned as fast advance and we tried the same. As decided; we did practiced more switch on dunes and also practiced how to control cars on fast advance... Thank you Engin for my second lead, Emre for sweep and Waleed you’re good to go for advance..Please attend one Advance 101 and start enjoying advance trips with club. You’ll break the record of fast 100 if you continue attending like this.. You said 10trips with club so far in this month..

Started at 8am and ended at 10.15am with no target point on navigation.. Two second tries and one winch out. Engin did an amazing self recovery.. Davor first time with you for an advance drive. You impressed us by showing your skills as an advance driver..

We should think about more drives like this in the weekday mornings.

I share Sai’s view that Waleed is ready for Advance. Also special thumbs up to him for the straight climb on the Iftar Bowl all the way to the top.

I drove with Davorin for the first time. I think he handled his car very well and safely.

Few pictures from today’s drive

Great way to start to the week. Fast drive with a lot of switching and climbing up/down. No other cars in sight but spoiled tracks unfortunately. We managed to find a few good spots and enjoyed the morning regardless. As the sweeper only did one snatch recovery and a shovel recovery so we were driving all along at a great tempo for the entire drive.

Waleed seems fair and square ready for next step. Power and speed compensates for a few things but those will be fine tuned in future drives with more technique, as we all do; practice makes perfect.

Pleasure to meet and drive with Davor. I am sure it was a bit of a shock for him after AD as was his first Dubai/Badayer dunes experience but kept all along despite Sai’s fast tempo.

Thanks again Sai for the trip and looking forward to the others!
