Saturday Newbies go BuTais (11-Sep)

We deflated and conducted a detailed briefing before setting off down the Om Al Oush Track. 8km down the track we turned into the dunes into the area of Butais with many many natural trees. The drive was chilled out as we meandered through the dunes. Over the smaller dunes and around the bigger dunes finding a safe and easy route through the area. We eventually found the trees and did a small tour of them before making our way to the BuTais gravel track and back to the tarmac.
Everyone did really well with communication and only a couple of second tries and no recoveries for the trip.
Big Thanks to Micheal for the excellent support and tips to the convoy and myself. Asif and Tommi you were both excellent with guiding everyone through the more technical areas, thank you.
