Wheeling in Butais 20-Aug
Posted: Fri Aug 20, 2021 7:39 pm
We all arrived in good time and good spirits, weather is getting much better with 29C and less humidity.
Drivers:
Zak - Fortuner (Lead)
Rene - JL (2nd Lead)
Gerhert - JK
Sunil - TJ
Maher - JK
Ahmed - Pathfinder
Davor - Pathfinder (Sweeper)
The point of this trips was to simulate a fun of driving next to a fence where we have to go in almost a straight light and cannot follow the easy line of the dunes. So we made our way in as direct as possible south to north direction and in one of the most technical areas of Butais. We found some really technical areas where the sand dunes are not uniform and very hard to drive through. Everyone drove much better than expected, especially Gerhert who was only doing his 2nd intermediate. I heard good communication and teamwork to get all of us through the different obstacles safely.
Big Thanks to Rene for the 2nd lead your experience really shows through.
And thank you for Davor for closing up the back of the convoy and blasting the tunes.
Thank you all for joining, me was my pleasure.
