after long time, time came to re visit the beautiful area of Alfaya, with newbie bravers and our only first timer Gavferns (welcome to AD4x4).
met on time at alfaya retreat and Marshal tilki honored us by his support too, ANIT briefing and Newbie safety biefing done by myself, and one channel set, flags raised and tires deflated, we headed into action.

we started by driving our way on a flat area towards Alfaya Dune, where membrs practiced straight ascend in lower part of the dune, then we headed all the way up where members shown a great control and confidence, specially our ANIT who relatively controlled his toy very well.
then we started prsticing each and every straight crest we faced (which were many ) in different types of sands, till we reached the little fossil rocks where we stopped for little talk to ensure members are comfortable, and had couple of photos in the great view of the mountains.
drive started to get smooth and technical as drivers did very well all the way, and given the fact that marshal, expert and intermediate support were taking care of every member all the way.
last stage gabor had the lead out of the desert in a very smooth track towards khatam exit 2.
we had our shares of second tries, stucks and fixing a starting issue, but at the end everyone came back with a big smile hoping we do that again.
thank you everyone for joining my trip and sharing the great day ith me, and i hope this track was up to the expectations and you all enjoyed it.
please feel free to add your comments/ feedback or suggestions.
see you all in the sand soon

Fantastic drive in Alfaya for the first time. The scenary was amazing and the drive more technical as the sand was soft but we enjoyed it immensely.
Thank you Abdo and all the support team for your help and advice.
Look forward to coming back to this area soon.

Re: Dxb - Re-visiting Alfaya and fossil dunes with Newbies
Fantastic drive in one of the most beautiful parts of the UAE.
Turns out I had been there before when I did a drone shoot about a year ago. Didn't recognise it as first because we were on the other side of the rocks
Another experience that was different, the sand was so soft that even the smallest of dunes had to be taken with a great deal of attention, but with Abdoo giving us instructions on exactly how to take on each of the different conditions ( "It's OK to side slip here, but don't steer up the hill", was heard over the radio on more than one occasion lol) everyone managed to get over all the obstacles.
We even had the opportunity for a little rock crawling
