Lead and sweep 21/5/21

Post by EmDoc »

All leaders and sweepers met on time and we soon set off for 6 separate leads each with its own style and pace. For the first lead all did well with interesting choices of track. I'll let the budding leaders post their views of the day.

Great fun, we'll do it again soon, summer permitting.

Until next time
Michael

Thank you Michael for allowing us to take the lead under your supervision. Everyone did very well and bu tais was perfect for developing the skill of leading a convoy.
Hopefully we can do another one before the heat.

I learned a lot during this trip, like how to lead, navigate, manage the convoy, read the dunes, and the different track selection styles.

I want to thank Michael for this opportunity and the valuable input. Also, thank you to all team members. I enjoyed all the tracks taken by our future leaders. Thank you for sharing this experience with me.

I can't wait for our next trip! ^_^
Proud to be Ad4x4 Marshal. :)

It was a good learning experience on how to lead a convoy, what difficulties a lead faces while navigating, choice of track, safety and time management.
Also learnt what a lead and the rest of the convoy expects from a sweeper.
Thanks to all the crew members for thier supported. Also I would like to thank Michael for guiding us throughout and giving us the opportunity to lead and sweep.
Expecting many more such trips in future. 😊
Regards,
Shaanib

This is my first experience of leading convoy.
New experience leads to new skills of choosing the track and to lead the convoy.
All the team was very cooperative to understand the lead and to share their experiences to improve the skills.
Special thanks to marshal to conduct such a trip during such hot temperature.

Looking for more trips to improve more skills.

Enjoyed the trip and location
