After the safety briefing and an explanation of sidecresting technique and convoy etiquette we moved into the dunes and started with a series of different cresting manoeuvres as practice and warmup. Once confidence rose we increased the pace and combined bowl entry and exit with cresting to develop flow and rhythm to the drive. With a few breaks here and there to discuss techniques and progress we finally arrived back at inflation around 11:30.

We had numerous second tries, a few stucks, one popout but all were dealt with safely and with good humour. A good morning with lots  of opportunities for developing advance skills. Well done to all.

Thanks to all who joined and a big thank you to Christophe for a good second lead, Zak for excellent sweeping and Ajesh in his new car for reassuringly overseeing things at  back of the convoy.
