Wildfire,

For the stroker, you can go for a full new Engine already stroked - Sami (a.k.a. Jeep)is already doing this, he ordered the engine from Quadratec so give him a call and he will give you the details. (Cost is around AED 25K)

Chuck done a cheaper way, he bought a used engine and bought the parts and did his project (Which is doing fine with no complications - But still did not reach the 300 PHB (i Think), I Raced with him once, we were almost the same level, but ofcourse he won when we reached over 100KM. So torque is almost the same (Cost was around AED 17K)

Mahmoud (a.k.a. Sahrawi) installed the V8 5.7 Engine Thats over 350 PHB, had lots of complications at the begining, but now I think his car is fixed and ready for the season - He can help you with the details (I think it costed him AED 35K) - and will not pass Muroor.

I don't trust Ramy Trading in his technical advice, he just want to sell any S**T and convince you that this is the best, so I will never go for what he recommend.

The best guy to give you an advice on axels and gear box which I trust will be Emil. Give him a call, he does not like to discuss technical things online.

Thanks for the replys,

Actualy Iam looking for the best setting for my car.

Iam confused, I dont know yet what to choose (4.5, 4.6, 4.7,4.8, 5.0 ) , where to instal it :dontknow: or even how to get it :crying:

There is a big difference in price between the ready stroker kits :!:
Does the price effect the performine and what shall I be looking for :?: (is Hesco stroker better than RPM Machine stroker :?: )

What I realy need is performance, in addition be able to heavely use the car for off roading not only racing and winter time. as we have no mercy to our cars and we keep on going to desert even at the summer time.

My Budget for this Project will be 30K, Therefore guys I need your help and advice

I would say go max. for the 4.7Litre, because 4.8 and up are more powerfull but also might be too powerfull for your drivetrain and other parts of the car.

The 4.6 is in my opinion the best solution, power and money wise.

I know one online shop in germany, which sells a complete 4.7 Litre kit for around 10000 AED.

http://www.4x4garage.de/catalog/product ... ts_id/1984

In that kit all internal parts are included ( pistons, rings, bearings, crankshaft, crane camshaft, oilpump, timing chain and so on ).

Get the gaskets locally, an old engine, find a good turning shop, bring all the parts to 7 Performance, wait one week and than you will be ready to rumble.

All this will cost you maybe 16 to 18 K AED. The rest you can spend for other stuff and maybe a new radiator and such things.

Cheers

Uwe

I am planning to use my engine (2005) because , I dont have a place to store another engine as my father :hit: , mother :hithit: and wife  already complaining about my mini scrap yard

As per my plan , I'll not use the car for more than 5 years (maximum) and 2 years of the five almost passed.

I was thinking of some other mods in addition to the stroker kit such as (Electric fan, ECU upgrade, cylinder head boarding(not sure if this is the correct name  ), if required Heavy duty radiator , water pump oil pump and cooler).

Do you know if I can get a full package from 7 performance (importing and instaling the parts) as that would be much easier than looking around and following up the order

Thank you guys , I realy apreciate you efforts.

Hi Wildfire,

you do not need to store the engine at home.Bring it to the turning shop, and until you have all parts together you can leave it at the guys which build the engine such as 7 Performance.

7 Performance also builds up a complete engine for you. Call Hisham ( 050 6993379 ), he is the one to talk too.

Btw, if you build up the engine by yourself, the only parts you need from abroad are the crankshaft with the 6 rods. All the rest you get locally.

You mean head porting, right ? :D

I think you and me have to go next week together to Mussafah. 8) 8)

Aha! You got that from my Jeep 4.0 Performance site. Unfortunately you can't buy the offset-ground stroker crank anymore, and I don't think there's any machine shop in the UAE that's competent enough to offset grind the rod journals on a stroker crank for you.
The safest route is to use the standard 258 stroker crank plus a 0.030" overbore to make the displacement 4.6L. If you've got lots of money to burn, you could order Hesco's stroker kit and their aluminium head to build yor own stroker. You won't get anywhere near 300hp (more like 260-270) but you'll have a torquey engine that's very streetable.

What is the chance to get new 4.7 stroker parts for something around 10000Dhs
