As we all know, the COVID-19 crisis represents a very serious threat to public health. With that in mind, following Government directives and aligned with the core values of the AD4x4 club, we will sadly be suspending our drives until further notice. The safety and wellbeing of our members are, of course, paramount, and we like to extend our warmest goodwill and prayers to all during this challenging time. Keep in touch however you can, and we look forward to some wonderful drives with you all very soon. See you in the sand!

Planning a trip to Jordan starting from the UAE with the option to drive your car to Jordan or fly and ship your car there.

We start the road trip on Saturday 4th April 2020 and expect to arrive Jordan on Sunday 5th. Spend a couple of days roam around and enjoy the scenery and local attractions.

On Wednesday 8th of April we join a group of local offroaders and we start the adventure going through rocky trails with various difficulty levels.

We will be driving on different trails on each and every day from Wednesday 8th till Saturday 11th.

This will be followed by a couple of days to spend around visiting some attractions etc. then on 14th we start the trip back to UAE to arrive on the 15th of April.

The is still a very high level plan, specific track names and other logistics will be shared later.

Those who will be doing all the trails are expected to have their rig ready with good lift height, big tires, winch and metal bumpers/skid plates.

There will be a section for sand dunes near Wadi Rum as I was told, I never been to Jordan for offroading so excuse my limited knowledge.

Members responsibilities:

Necessary Hotel bookings and sleeping arrangements like camping gear are a must.

Food drinks etc.

Visa and necessary formalities to enter the country via KSA or direct flight to Jordan as applicable based on the source of your passport.

Car documents, insurance etc. as per the rules whether you ship or drive through KSA.

Necessary arrangements and maintenance preparing the rig for a major drive and tricky rocky trails.

Dear all,
Please start preparing KSA transit visa and car documentation for the trip.

I have renewed my residency visa earlier than required to apply for visas etc.

- Jordanian participants will be 15 rigs between support, spotting and participants

Tentative itinerary is as follows:

- Al danah nature reserve rock crawling
- Dead Sea - rock crawling
- Balqa - rock crawling

One night will be wild camping maybe 2 not sure yet . But most likely one night is pretty much confirmed .
