Flying Newbies - Friday 19/02/21

I posted an newbie drive for Last Friday with just 6 spaces. Ended up being overwhelmed with over 40 sign ups. Spoke to all the marshals and split the 42 people into 5 convoys. Everything went smoothly. Please feel free to comment any feedback.

In my convoy, I had a few drivers whose came all the way from dubai to support. Thank you Sai, Sinan, and Bibin. Thank you for the amazing company.

Newbie drivers Bimal, Dileep, and Shajumon all drove very well. No complaints al all, excellent driving. They knew what they were doing and how to react and move forward given each situation.

Took the drivers through both technical and medium dunes of Sweihan. Was surprised by the drivers of the 2 land cruisers. We started at al Khazna deflation, went by to Sweihan pond and ended at gate 2.

Did many technical things also climbings. First time driving in abudabi desert, and thank you very much for taking us to beautiful pond located in middle of the desert.

Overall a nice trip...might be more than a newbie and closer to intermediate...I think one among the best trip so far...

I want to thank all the ones who joined this convoy for being patient with me as newbie. Everyone has shared there knowledge and I carried a handful of tips to be a better desert driver. Thanks Isham, Sai and Sinan for guiding us through the terrains and keeping us safe. Many of the things I did was for first time and thanks once again
