Re: Advance: Lead & Sweep
Thank you FidoDido for this trip, it was full of information and experience.
This is the trip where I had the opportunity to try all positions; lead, second lead, sweeper, in addition to a regular driver.
I lead an intermediate level trip with the following order:
- Pshasha Lead
- Bishar; second lead
- Jithu as a first timer intermediate.
- Fido
- Raul as sweeper
I have to say that I enjoyed the trip so much as I felt responsible for the rest of the drivers and I had to make sure they reach the end point safely with enjoyment. There was one stuck and I managed to recover.
And of course I will always thank Adiga, my hubby for supporting me always.
Well done everyone, thank you, and wish you all the best in the desert.

Re: Advance: Lead & Sweep
It was one of the best learning experiences in the dunes..
Thanks Amr and Adiga for arranging the same.
I accepted the first opportunity to lead the convoy. I choose to lead the convoy at an intermediate level.
Bishar as second lead and Raul as sweep provided strong support to the convoy.
We had to overcome a technical area after that it was smooth ride.
Time allocated to reach the destination was 20 minutes and I was able to take the convoy to the destination within that time despite a recovery of my car.
After my lead session, Marshals shared their valuable feedback.
I got an opportunity to lead the convoy again at newbie level while coming back to Gate 12.
Thanks the entire team for the excellent support
