Intermediate night drive @ Al Qudra 22.12.2020

This is a trip report for the Intermediate night drive yesterday.

We met at the ADNOC station in Al Qudra. The turnout for the drive was very impressive with all modified Jeeps. Chief Khaiwi was the first man to arrive there.

- 7:30pm sharp, we all moved together to the deflation point.
- At the deflation points the convoy order set and the convoy stayed 5 minutes for a briefing.

- then we started fast paced drive passing by a few nice dunes and we had the chance to pass by little play areas before the break time where we climbed few steep-ish dunes.

Unfortunately, Sai i was not feeling well yesterday, Carlo was kind enough to offer ride back to last exit, Al Qudra.

- 10.45pm we arrived at Al Qudra lakeside for a quick chitchat before heading on the dirt track to tarmac. Finally we all inflate and head back to Dubai.

Bulldozer We're sorry you were unable to make the drive yesterday due to work commitments. We missed you and diesel coffee.


The key takeouts from this drive for me:
Positives:

- The different sand dunes that we passed given opportunities to experience dune formations, the role of approach, departure, and break away angles in the cars which is very essential for drivers to improve their technical skills and experienced drivers to enjoy.

- Convoy was very organized and we didn't get many stucks (just one or two minor stucks ), even though I opted for a very technical route.

Special Thanks to Chief Khaiwi for attending the drive and making sure we all drive safely.

Good to know all enjoyed..Thank you for taking over my trip because of some technical issue with my Jeep... Good lead Melvin...Sorry that I left in the middle....
