The last post is a while ago - is the montana 600/650 still the best choice? and better than the 62s?

276c not available anymore, not even outside on ebay or amazon.

thanks!

Baha. Wait before you buy the 600. I was told the screen can't take the heat. So there is a screen problem.

I used it on sand and in the sea for more than a year, different seasons and day times, without problems, and if their is a problem, the warranty should cover it, especially if you buy it from AMIT in Mina

You will be lucky to find one and that too cheap. Heard they are more expensive than the new Montana. Why not try the Montana or if you can wait, go for the Monterio?

The OREGON series new models 600 and 650 have new, better screens and a smaller footprint than the Montana ... my personal favorites at the moment. ;)

Hello guys, Where is AMIT in Mina exactly?
And is the 3" screen of the Oregon good enough? As seems the only reason to go for Montana is the 4" monitor size

The screen is better and the functionality for the desert is better on the Montana, as I was looking at the Oregon at the time.

If you want to splash a bit of money, the Montana 600 is the basic one, then there is the 650 / 650t. but there is a new toy out there, the Montera. this has the touch screen, similar to the iphone, i believe Blackbird has one.

Alot of people are / have taken the Montana in the desert and for me 18months later, no issues, loads of tracks and points i can share with fellow drivers etc.

Amit is located past the fish market in Meena. with market on your left continue to the end of the road and it is the last shop on the right on the corner.
